Insurance laws, rules, and regulations vary with state and even insurance companies. Make sure you check with your insurance company if you plan on buying it as to what they will do with a salvaged car. Was this car insured when it was flooded? I know quite a few things about salvaged, and generally smashed cars, because my parents own a dealership that buys from insurance companies and resells them. Floods have MULTIPLE electrical problems, if not now then years down the road. We dont even deal with them and we have a 20 acre salvage yard also that we get all our parts from. ITS JUST TO MUCH WORK.

A big Amen to that AltrdPrcptn. Any car that has been submerged in water will make you sorry you ever put a dime into it.
