• Speed Limiter removed on a 3.4L

Is there a easy way to get it removed? If so how fast could it go without blowing the motor up?

I thought getting a jet or super chip removed the speedlimiter. Im guessing it would go to 130 mph depending on what mods you had if removed speedlimiter.

I'm not sure about removing the top speed limiter, but I remember that when I first got my car and I was looking up info on it I read that it tops out at 140. I think this could be possible, but I wouldn't try it.

Not all chips and or jet modules lift the limiter. The only method I am aware of that will lift it is the flash program by Fastchips ($300)

I reached 135mph on the autobahn, even for longer periods - without blowing the engine or other problems
But I wouldn´t do it with stock suspension...

The suspension thing is a big one. Christ, even at 114 my car started doing some crazy things...I need to get it looked at.

Is the suspension any different on the newer cars? I have gotten the impression that it is softer for a smoother ride ( )
