    Alright were to begin...

    93 camaro 3.4
    1) This is probably gonna be long and painful so bear with me. When i leave the car idle or sit in traffic for a long time the car seems to run hotter then expected. This is with no fan or nothing on btw. It will slowly start to creep past the half way mark and make its way to the 3/4ths mark before the fan kicks on to cool it back down. Repeat this step if sitting in traffic.

    however...

If i put the defroster on or vents on and put the temperature anywhere the car temperature will be 100% where its supposed to be. I can leave it run for hours if i wanted to and it would be fine. If i turn everything off step one happens. Its just a pain to have hot air blow on your legs when its hot as f*ck out. Also no matter what i do if i put the fan on (not the ac) and put it to cold it blows out freezing cold air. I can even turn the fans off and if i put the temperature to the cold side it blows freezing cold air still

Any ideas? Bad thermo? Coolant is fine(not dirty, low, etc) No codes

Another weird thing. Every once in awhile when i go to start the car it doesnt like to start. I can turn the key 1, 2, 3, 10 etc times before it starts. It just clicks doesnt even crank or whatever. Sometimes it fires right up on the first attempt. It always starts but i have no clue what is causing this.

Whoever owned the car before me stripped out one of the battery terminals so it would never fully tighten. I replaced that and it seemed to fire up on the first attempt everytime for a week or so but now it continues to be weird everyday

first your temp issue is not an issue its the way they all are. Your starting issue is probably a loose or dirty connection it could be that your alternator lead has to much resistance and isnt charging right or all the time but its probably from the batt + to the starter or the batt - to the ground

I have never seen a temp gauge setup that would let it go past halfway let alone 3/4ths of the way up

yeah my temperature makes it to 210 and never really goes above that, according to this thread the stock thermostat opens at 195*. So you really shouldnt see it goto the 3/4 mark... i think thats probably when both your fans are kicking on and they are just barely cooling your engine. check this thread out for more info..
