ok, so i've been driving on this for a while and now i finally have a lil change to fix it. I have a moderately loud ticking that I hear when the engine's running. Sounds a little different than the exhaust leak I used to have. varies with engine speed and coming from the top end. I THINK its lifter knock (i have 114k miles) but I'm not sure...
Short of replacing lifters, rods, rockerarms and valves, essentially the whole valvetrain, what can I do to fix this? Is it a PITA to get the valvecovers off?
