ok, so here's the deal.... my old belt tensioner went south on me so i got a new one and replaced it. i drove about 10 miles and the car heated up to about 220. i pulled over and opened the hood and smoked poured everywhere....i noticed it was leaking coolant at the little elbow on the bottom of the belt tensioner assembly and getting all over the block and making smoke.... so heres my question. is there a gasket or something that is supposed to go into the coolant lines that run through the belt tensioner assembly... this car has about 95,000 miles on it.thanks for any help

Yea dude, its your water pump. Basically, theres a weep hole on the bottom of the pump, and when the internal seal starts to go, itll leak coolant. I got a brand new Bosch water pump from pep-boys and i think it was $40. Takes about half an hour to replace.
i was hoping it wasn't that! i just dropped 120 bucks on the belt tensioner assembly. i did a search and read some old threads and before i posted this one and it didn't seem like the same thing. alright well thanks for the help!
