I used outlaw injector cleaner and the Outlaw octan booster. I just cant seem to buy that Shogun crap hehe. Ask the guys at kragen or whatever theyl tell you which has the highest concetration of cleaner in it. Most likely not one of those nice pretty bottles, they have to sacrifice performance for appearance (typical to most things having to do with rice isnt it)1998 Firebird 3.8, A4
Mods: Alum Ds, Yank TC 2800 stall, Rksport lid, FTRA, SLP air temp sensor, K&N, Flowmaster catback 2.5\" w/cutout, 3:42 gears w/LSD
Best E/T: 15.6 @ 86 mph (w/o gears / lsd or verter)
Best 60: 2.234
www.teamfoxfire.iwarp.com -- club site
To come?: l67 piston package hardened, turbo? spray? low 12\'s? well see

I heard some people here talk about SeaFoam brand fuel inj cleaner. I bought some at NAPA Auto, but I havent tried it yet. Since this topic just made me realize that it was in the garage, I'll try it tomorrow.

Redline fuel injector cleaner, but then I also change the fuel filter shortly afterwards because I've heard that injector cleaner can plug up the filter......
Also, I need to check, but with the possbility of more ethanol/methanol being added to fuel, it may not be adviseable to use the injector cleaner any more. I was reading the GM Tech magazine, and it had an article about an engine that ran on like 40% alcohol, and it said that fuel injector cleaner will create a sludge when it mixes with alcohol, but it didn't say how much alcohol (%) was necessary for it to happen.Wife and a dog, they both think they\'re Kujo.

1999 3.8 A4 Y87
Navy Blue Metallic
BFG G-Force KDWS 275/40/17s,
WS6 Wheels (17x9)
Phoenix Transmissions 2400 Stall Converter
FRA, Holley Powershot filter, Whisper Lid, Ported Throttlebody
2000 manifolds, Flowmaster, WS6 Tail Pipes,
MSD 8.5mm Wires, MSD Coils, Autolite plugs
Performance Cryogenics treated rotors
1LE Sway Bars and panhard rod, 1LE front springs w/SLP Bilsteins, stock rear springs w/ 3rd Gen Bilsteins, BMR STB, KBDD SFCs, 1LE rear lower control arms, 1LE front lower control arms
1968 Chevelle Malibu 327 TH350

I used to use the STP but its turned into water - I've had good luck with the $4/bottle Valvoline.
If you think you need an engine oil cleaner, autoRx is the best way to go. I don't recommend any other oil cleaner or additive but this, and this only when you desperately need it.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

I've used STP without any troubles. Just make sure since it goes through your whole fuel system that you have a new filter on before adding it. Otherwise if the filter is super dirty it may not do much.
I talked to a company that makes all the oi/gas products for shell, and Citago. They said basically that if you use gas that contains ethanol use only that type of gas.
Otherwise if you use a gas with ethanol, and then switch to a brand name that does not use it... then it will make a film in your gas tank... and that would suck @ss! heh heh. Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

Seafoam engine cleaner is great stuff. You just have to be carefull with how much you use and how you use it. GM makes a cleaner as well but it is very expensive. Seafoam isn't that expensive and is great at cleaning out the junk of the entire fuel system. But like I said, and this goes for all fuel, oil, etc additives be carefull how much you use at one time or you could screw up a lot of things, such as your fuel pressure regulator or even a fuel injector. But it does do wonders in the right quantity.1994 Camaro
3.4L V6 Automatic
K&N FIPK&Gold Oil Filter,Ravin Performance Exhaustw/Dynomax MandrelBent3\"I-Pipe&S Pipe&Catco 3\" HiFlow Cat.,ASP Crank and High AMP Alternator,U.D.
