Yesterday it was about 90 degress and later on in the day while driving there was heat coming from the vents but i didnt have them on at all. Then at the same time i started to smell coolant, i looked at my gauge and the temp was right around halfway. It never gets that hot since i put a 180 degree thermostat in. It usually stays about a quarter of the way up,im guessing 180. Then not to long after that it went back to normal. No leaks anywhere. I did check the coolant and it was pretty muddy looking. Im gonna flush it out today with that Prestone Flush Kit. Im just wondering what happened.
