Hate to bump up old threads. But what could it mean if your IDLE is about 1K after warming up? I bought my car used, and I don't know what the guy has done to it. He said he was the second owner leaving it the way he got it from someone else.

mine stays at about 950 after fully warmed and its always been that way since I've had it. No problems at all.

youre fine, ive always been told 800-1k is normal on a warm motor, 1200-1500 or so on a cold day until it warms up.
