I have a 97 RS with 154,4** miles, original everything. I'm going to college in a couple of weeks but still wanted to modify my car, at least intake and exhaust. I was talking today with my mechanic tho, he was telling me how the suspension replacement we just did was necessary, i need new tires (mine are so bald one's almost a slick lol), and I shouldn't really be throwing money into a car with such high milage, since sometime in the not so distant future my engine may/will blow, and then im gonan have to get a new motor or rebuild it. So basically saying don't do anything not completely necessary, just drive it till it dies, save up for a new engine or car. Was wondering if you guys thought it was worth it or not to do anythign with this car.

i would do intake and exaust cause for one they give you better milage and make it sound better. maybe do headers if your keeping the car for a while, Tune it up reall good and it will last maybe some Mobile on oil and some good filters (i like K&N for oil and intake filters) on the motor will last.
maybe sefoam it before the tune up, buy that slick 50 kit with the oild and fule additve to that bring back some life....www.turbov6camaro.com
