About a week ago I went to install my walbro fuel pump, cut a whole in the trunk removed the assembly from the tank and was ready to take apart the bucket. Then I noticed when the 2 wire conntector that goes into the old fuel pump doesnt look like it would mount right into the new one. So I didnt take the bucket apart and put everything back together and closed and sealed the hole I made for now. Now the question is do I need this wire from the zzp kit
or do I need to take the bucket apart or something I dunno im not sure what to do.
Does your bucket have three posts with springs on them or does it have one post that runs down the side? I just did mine and it had three posts with springs. It required a little more work than the threads on here suggest.
But in answer to your question, yes. If you got the Walbro with the universal kit (which looks like that is the case) you will need the wiring connector to get the Walbro to connect to the original bucket connector.

Alright thanks I guess I will have to try and get that wire some how. No my bucket doesnt have springs like the pic of yours in the other thread.
Then you are lucky. You won't have any trouble mounting your fuel pump. I got my Walbro from http://www.zzperformance.com and they included the universal kit. You might try giving them an email and see if they will sell you just that cable. No harm in trying. Good luck!

I never opened the bucket once I saw that the wire was not going to fit the walbro, If it fits good but if not I will just ditch the bucket. Im going to email zzp now, If I buy some other stuff maybe they will have more incentive to send the wire. I need a valve cover breather from them and some other goodies for my turbo.

Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
