    How do I trouble shoot coil packs? I think mine might have a problem. I have tried new wires but I cant get my car to kick over...(details to it all in advaced tech)...

    You take them off and check their resistance. The correct values are listed in the Haynes manual. Try searching if you haven't already. We've covered this a few times.

    And change the topic name to "coil packs" not "oil packs" :D

      you could also get a spark tester tool and see if the coils make a spark...

          take the wire off the plug from the coil you want to test. stick a screw driver in the end where it touches the metal end of the wire, the hold the metal part of the screw driver over the bracket behind the a/c. have someone crank the car and look for a strong blue spark. anything yellow and the coils are starting to go. it's not perfect, but it will give you a good idea if you don't have access to a voltometer.

          and the easiest way to pull the back coils off is to pull the whole module first, so you can tilt it.

              They are inaccurate. I got mine tested at that place and they told me that its still good but yet when I put it back on it misfires coz of it.
