Why would you posisbly want to put yet another muffler in front of another restrictive muffler? You want to reduce the restrictions that are present in the system. Not add to them.

hbhracing should i put that dynomax bullit muffler where our mufflers go and on the stock v8 system just do away with that muffler, run stock v8 piping to the dynomax muffler??? i thought it was a resonator????Comment

do you want my personal advice?
Don't bother with the take off since the best way to use it is to replace the muffler anyway. Just do it the simple way and install a B&B or Magnaflow 2.5" V6 catback and be done with it.1996 Silver camaro Z28. sell it all and get something that will actauly work without a lot of work. YOu would have to install the take off, then put the V force (crappy) muffler on ect ect. By the time your done haveing everything welded you could have had a real cat back on there.1996 Silver camaro Z28. If you really want to go cheep and get "decent" sound I would just slap a flowmaster muffler on your stock set up and be done with it. All of the running around and changing that you would be doing adding a different muffler to a take off would just be counter productive.
