Just wondering what type of motor oil and filter everyone is using. I changed mine today.....Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w 30, with a Fram xtra guard filter.

Whatever they give me at Grease Monkey..
I'll probably start using Mobil 1. I know that they tell you with Slick 50 to not use it before 20,000 miles to let your engine break in properly, wasn't sure if the same held true with synthetics. Probably not..\'02 3.8L, Pewter Metallic Camaro
- Y87 Performance Package
- T-Tops
- Monsoon Audio
* SLP CAI
* Whisper Lid
* K&N Filter

i,ve always used Fram filters on my cars. Is there much of a difference between delco/fram?
Or is it just preference?94 Firebird, 3.4 V6, Red, M5
SLP CAI, Accel 8mm Superstock Wires, Bosch Platinum +4 Plugs, Borla Exhaust, BMR Strut Tower Brace, 180* Thermostat, B&M Ripper Shifter
http://www.cardomain.com/id/94bird

Is use the K&N gold filters and mobile 1 oil. I've had bad experiences with fram filters and will never use them again. IMHO they just plain suck. The AC Delco ones are good to but I personally prefer the K&N ones.1994 Camaro
3.4L V6 Automatic
K&N FIPK&Gold Oil Filter,Ravin Performance Exhaustw/Dynomax MandrelBent3\"I-Pipe&S Pipe&Catco 3\" HiFlow Cat.,ASP Crank and High AMP Alternator,U.D. I mainly use AC Delco because I trust them. I've used other filters and haven't had a problem that I know of in the past. I've used other types of plugs and wired though and over time they messed up my coils and I had to get them replaced and then I replaced the plugs and wires again using AC Delco and it ran great. The shop I take it up too also suggests them and I just trust them more, so it's mainly a preference I guess99\' Black Camaro SS
M6/T-Tops - SLPLid w/K&N | Hurst Billet Plus w/ LSS | EGR Mod
Black 97\' Camaro T-Tops (RIP)
