no get up and go

  • no get up and go

    v6 bird, just tuned up, give it gas it goes but not like it should, it has a hesatation before it goes. engine seems flat at times. could this be a injector problem? help thanks

    check to make sure none of your wires are getting burned on anything

      could be so many things. do you have a SES light? my guess is plugs. sounds like a misfire maybe.

            What was replaced in the tune up?

              just plugs. ac delco that what they said the car uses.

                Ok well some other things you could replace (all routine maintenance items) are:

                Fuel Filter
                Plug Wires

                Well actually...I'm willing to bet you just need a new fuel filter. They're like 5 bucks at autozone and they're easy to install.

                    my manual says u have to have a special tool to remove the fuel filter on are cars is this true.

                      if you consider a wrench and needle nose pliers a special tool then yes otherwise thats all you need.....its really simple to do takes about 5 min
