• Rev Question

Hey Guys,
I was just pondering this question. I have some aluminum pedals on my 99 a4 camaro....and I was just thinking if I put them on wrong and it is not letting me to actually floor my car. I went down to look and It SEEMED like I wasnt able to floor it. Is there a way to find out if I can floor it without taking off the pedal?

It seems like the same thing to me too. I was thinking maybe just adjust the throttle cable or something. Don't know much about that though.

Try taking the pedals off altoghether. They do nothing, and IMO they are cheesy and a bit on the "import racing" side.

well he can't adjust the throttle cable because there isn't one on the 99+ models That's about all the $0.02 I can give ya!

Oh and since you titled it Rev question, you can't rev pass 4,500rpms in neutral on our cars due to the revlimiter. Just thought I'd share that with ya (I have the same year model as you)

Yup......... 99 and up stopped the throttle-by-wire, it went to throttle-by-sensor

Reminds me of the old floor mat mod :D

And that's wire driven or fly by wire on 99+'s
<98's are cable driven.
