First I have a 94 3.4 Auto camaro.
So after several trips to the mechanic I am still having problems. I first took my car in, as the cooling fans were not kicking on. They replaced the fan motor and the relay. Now the fans come on initially, but they then go off. They wait until the guage reaches 3/4 of the way up to turn on, then they go back down to half. However, this seems fairly high (around 235). Also, the car remains at half when moving. Do you think that this maybe has to do with the thermostat? If so do you have the part number for the thermo, as I heard it is a simple fix and worth a try.
Also being in Tucson where the highs are in the 100's, this may be too late too kick on. I would really not like to go to a manual switch, as I will probably be selling within the next two years.
Also, I had my AC charged last year and it ran cool for a while, but now is not cold. The fans do not come on when I turn the ac on. I am not sure if this is a related issue. Any ideas?
On autozones website they have this http://autozone.com/N,16301768//shop...eResultSet.htm
What is this, as this is not what I was thinking for th thermostat (195, 180 etc).
