Brother's stock 3.4 faster than mine....

Here's the scoop.....

I have a 93 firebird 3.4 with these mods:

K&N CAI
Flowmaster 80 Catback
Catco High Flow Cat
180 degree thermostat
Accel Spark Plug wires
NGK plugs
MSD coil packs
ASP Underdrive pulley (crankshaft)

My twin brother has a 93 camaro 3.4 with these mods:

Flowmaster Catback
K&N drop in air filter


Now can someone please tell me why his car is faster than mine?

I'm sick of getting burned by a practically stock car while spending money on mods that don't seem to do anything.

you mean like track? I have no idea, he just burns me when we're cruisin...

if you mean mileage... its pathetic.... his has over 156,000 and mines 89,000

Yeah, I meant mileage. Are they standard or auto? Does he have the same gears as you?

everything is the exact same, even down to the tranny filter ( i know cuz i do all the maintenence crap on his car)

besides those mods, exactly the same engine. Exactly.


Now i know it's not like i have headers or anything like that, but it's not like i'm even a little bit faster than him...he's faster than me and i'm starting to lose it.

oh and they're both autos, so you can't even say maybe he's a better shifter, cuz all you gotta do is put the pedal down.

less than three months ago i did this maintenence:

Coils
Plugs
Wires
PCV Valve
Oil Change
Tranny Fluid
Oil Filter
Tranny Filter
Fuel Filter
Coolant Change
Brake Fluid
Plus all of those mods have been added within the past 4 months!!!!!!

but really people, is there something gravely obvious that could be affecting my cars status? something so big as a cylinder not firing (which i would notice)? i mean really wtf

The only thing heavier about my car is a 40 lb subwoofer box and a small amp. Plus mine is clean and since his is full of **** all the time, it kind of evens out =)

we both spin..... and he's also heavier than me by about 20 lbs or so.....

things just don't add up
