what about ur driveshafts and are you SURE the gears are the same?
we both use premium, always....
no i'm not sure our gears are the same but i'm almost 100% positive, plus anyhow, would gears alone make the difference? I don't think so unless they'r friggin 4.10's
i dont mean to be a dike here but your mods dont acctually add any hp.
like the wires, thermo........ stuff like that. so basically its the same car.
now something simple as a blocked egr? i dunno if they even have em back in 93.
I think these [see below] plus the mileage difference would make some difference
K&N CAI
Flowmaster 80 Catback
Catco High Flow Cat
ASP Underdrive pulley (crankshaft)
the CAI should add roughly 7 hp
the high flow cat maybe 2-3
and the pulley's good for 2-3
so just the fact that i've got "11-13" more hp roughly and the fact that my car is in perfect maintenence condition and has almost half the miles, you'd think that if anything i would be slightly faster, but this appears to not be the case...
looks like i'll be selling my car soon.... or be commiting suicide... anyone near buffalo who wants to watch me drive my slow *** firebird off the peace bridge be there at midnight
are them results dynoed or made up? like the jet chip that adds 30 hp... or the flowmaster cat back that adds 35 hp...
tell you what i have right here. flowmaster cat back, k&n, chiped, cold air induction, 180 thermo, tune up. guess what, i dont feel any difference and my g/f's 04 3.8 grand prix still takes me bad. these little "bolt ons" are indeed a waist and i have a head ach. goodnight.
by the way get 150 shot of nitrous and blow his doors off.:omg:

sry to be a hater bro i just know because i did all the little bolt ons, and they really dont do much of anything:dj:
so lets get some nitrous, i found a kit that works with stock injectors and what not, even though i have an upgraded ignition and intake/exhaust system.
maybe some of your mods are hurting you more than there helping you (that 180* thermostat for sure) switch everything you can over to your brothers car and see if that makes things change (if not he has a factory freak, or the motor has been rebuilt in the past)

Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
