Ok car is leaking fluid from somwhere, its not the gasket already checked it, tok the whole water pump off. Question is, is the water pump two pieces? Is there some other part that might need to be replaced behind the timing chain cover? possibly the leak holes or whatever???

Re: Water Pump Question
What kind of engine? I could give some advice about the 3.4, if that's what's bothering you.

Re: Water Pump Question
If its a 3.4, did you check the quick release connector that goes into the front of the intake? It should have a series of metal lines that go to the throttle body and have one bolt holding it in place. The plastic clip deteriorates over time and leaks.
