I recharged my AC last week, and the AC seems to blow cold at night, as well as off and on during the day. After about 15 minutes during the day it will start just blowing hot air. Sometimes turning it off then back on works. I have noticed that the big silver can(accumulator) is very hot. Any ideas on what may be wrong? I hear a very loud clicking noise coming from the clutch/compressor, do not know if this is normal. Both compressor and clutch seem to be functioning as the pressure on the vents seems to be strong. I checked for leaks with the uv die, and do not seem to find any.

Why would the accumulator be hot?

Re: Why would the accumulator be hot?
What should the pressure reading be? I used the guage, and put it in the color that it stated. I believe it was no higher than 45.(25-45)My Car http://members.cardomain.com/tucsoncamaro
3 inch flowmaster catback system, with ceramic coated pacesetter headers,3 inch cat,K&N FIPK
