I've read just about every t-top conversion guide I've been able to get my hands on and I just know that I can't do this. I don't have the tools or the skills, let alone the confidence to even attempt such a thing. But God do I want them. So I reach out to those with more skill than myself. Would anybody in the Maine-Vermont and maybe Northern Mass. area be willing to help me? I'd gladly pay and would obviously have the materials needed for conversion beforehand. This is probably a stupid request but it doesnt hurt.

Oh come ON you have like the most professional looking t-top converted camaro on the entire message board. I'm a 16 year old high school student, I just can't do this. Are you sure you won't help me, or maybe know somebody who can? Perhaps my friend Mr. Franklin and his twin brothers could change your mind?

ask me how much experience I had with body work before this?
I once took a hood and fender off a 3rd gen and got new ones from the junkyard, put them on and drove to a paint place and had them fix all little dings and paint the car.
So not really any experience at all...
at least your 16, so you have a house to do it.
I did mine in an apartment complex until we got asked t leave for the noise and sparks, then we went to a local car guy's house and did it in his driveway.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

I had ZERO hours of body work when I did mine. It still turned out great.
I've done it to a few other cars since then. In fact, in about 5 hours, I have a guy who is driving in from Las Vegas (28+ hours away) for me to do his car.
Send the car to me, I'll send it back. I'll do it, but that is going to be a LARGE stamp. Just do it yourself, its actually fun!
