  • NEED HELP ABOUT SCU2000..

    Finally I got a SCU2000 Today.
    But Instruction sheet didin't come wlth SCU2000.
    Anyone knows best setting value for my car?

    I JUST WANT TO TAKE OFF SPEED LIMITER.

    1996.Firebird(3.8Auto)with Y87pkage:3.42Gear
    245/50VR/16 KUMHO EXTA SUPRA tires


    I found setting data in this forum.
    But I dont know about setting.
    I didnt change gear(3.42).
    I just changed 235/55TR/16 to 245/50VR/16

      Thanks for reply.

      Anyway, this early morning.

      I was tested SCU2000 on highway.
      I was set a Stock gear 3.42 Mod is 3.42
      Stock tire is 3 mod is 5

      On the highway with high speeding,
      My speedo stops exactly 101mils But my car keep going up to (134miles)215km/hr.
      I figure out my car speed by GPS Speed Caculate system.
      But problem is I think ,I was hit rev limiter several times during over 200km high speeding.

      When I hit 134miles,RPM goes arround 6000-6200.
      and hit REV limiter(?) Is it something wrong?

      I was never hit over 6000 before except 2nd gear.
      I was hit speed limiter(118miles)at approx 3800rpm before install scu2000.
      Now I just afraid of using high rpm on my car.

      Anybody can fix this problem?

        Please stop saying that the scu2000 doesnt work, it worked for me, magnus and a few others. You just have to hook it up correctly.
        Longtubes, true duals, ram air, caspers tps tec, ls1 26lb injectors, supersix powerpack, heads milled .020, comp cam .507 220/224 114 ls, forged internals and chromeoly pushrods, bored .030 over, tb spacer, tranny built with stiffer springs and kevlar bands, bigger servo, transgo stage 3 shift kit, edge 3600 stall, 1 pc aluminum ds, 3.73 superior gears, lsd rear ,custom pcm tuning, walbro 255 in tank,

          I heard you won't be able to shift into 4th at WOT. So can you let off at 6K in 3rd just for a split second and it will shift then get back on WOT?
