How much does a tune up usually cost for a 2000 Camaro V6? Like changing spark plugs, cleaning fuel injection, pcv valve, and all the major things.

No one knows because everyone does it themselves...:D One of my students has a Camaro and I think he said it was like $150 or so.. that was just for the plugs though.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

It's not worth it IMO. Like Shirl said, $150 for plugs, then add in an oil change, tranny flush, wires, oil filter, etc, and you start racking up numbers. Or, for about $150 you could do everything yourself one afternoon. So, pay let's say $500 for a shop to do it all and not know if they actually did it all (it happens), or take a day off of work and do it all yourself the way you want to. You may loose $150 or so by taking the day off of work, but you save $350 by doing it yourself, so.....~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

your money will stretch alot further if you DIY, then you can replace more stuff and use the parts you want too
