  • what plugs you all runnin

i have the bosch in my car now, not the +4's, i dunno even what they are, but they blow. i think my miss fouled em all somewhat.

    BUT

autozone today said our stock plugs are platnium. is this so?

i need some decent plugs just for a change. no spray, no high performance ones, just decent plugs that arent 5.99 a piece like the AC Delco platniums.

    any suggestions?

NGK TR6s here primarily for nitrous, but I saw no noticeable N/A loss.

are the NGK plugs, either the TR55's or the TR6's platnium? and do we have to use platnium?

NGK TR55s here. Either those or the TR6 should be fine for you.

I do not think we have to use platnium... I am pretty sure you'd be wasting money if you went to AutoZone and bought platinum plugs.

whats wrong with autozone!! lol j/k (i work there...discount w00t)

NGK is what i use in my Lancer, but its a weak 4cyl so...ya know.

searching the boards for hours on end about camaros b4 i get one i saw rapidfire alot, but ill probably use NGK just cuz i like em.
my 02 Lancer might be totaled, some 60 yr old lady in a van t-boned it in the driver side front wheel. if its totaled im either getting a v6 camaro or a 1g dsm...probably the camaro though!

I just changed mine to NGK TR-55s. I had the
Bosch Platnum +4s with about 30K miles and they
were shot. I noticed an imediate difference. Smoothed out the idle a lot. Although the old plugs didn't look fouled.
