I have the Cooper Cobra tires on my car. I got the car almost a year ago and when I got it it was/still is stock. 1 owner before me (some guy in his 40's). I am pretty sure they are the same brand/type tires that came out of the factory but probably aren't "THE" originals because the car has 66K miles on it. I have a bubble in one of my front tires. Does anyone know what this is caused by? I don't think it is a defective tire because if it were I would assume that the bubble would have always been there and not just shown up just now. I haven't hit any bumps or pot holes or anything.
Thanks for your help.
1996 Polo Green Metallic Camaro:<br />SLP CAI, Carsound/Magnaflow 3\" in/out cat, Flowmaster 2.5\" cat-back... sounds great
I don't think the Cooper Cobra's are the stock tiires. Most Camaro's and Firebird's came with Goodyear's.
The bubble could be caused by hitting large potholes, running into a curb, etc. One of the belts inside of the tire broke, and it causes the tire to bubble out. REPLACE IT SOON!! I personally wouldn't drive on it anymore. You could hit another bump on the road and blowout the tire, possibly hurting yourself and/or someone else.
