    How do you knoe if your camaro came with the Y87 package or not?

    y87 will be in the rpo codes either in the drivers door jamb or the glove box, do a search

      Ah I just found out mine is a Y87. I always thought it handled very well. Too bad my motor is blown....

        Maybe it does, but not because you have RPO Y87 - it is NOT a suspension package.

          and too bad there's no suspension upgrades with a Y87. It's just 3.42 gears, a posi, and a dual exit muffler.

            Well, the better steering ratio definately helps at times, even if it's not strictly a handling upgrade..

              Wasn't there a package that had upgraded suspension? Not necessarily the Y87, but I thought there was one out there.
