firstly, you aren't being too specific...there are a lot of things that could cause jerks like that, but without a good description, or actually being there, it will be hard to diagnose such a problem. try and explain further...like, does it seem the engine is having problems staying alive, or does the tranny seem to be slipping?2000 NBM M6 Camaro Z28
323/335

It seems like the engine is having problems staying alive, but like i said it seems to drive like normal until you really stand on it. It bangs loudly and continues to do so until you let off it. It also jerks back and forth while it is banging until you let off of it.99 Black Convertible Bird
http://www.cardomain.com/id/1blackbird
Whisper lid, K&N, raised airbox, removed MAF screen, American thunder cat-back w/resonator, gatorback belts, mirror tinted windows, tons of Streetglow neon,PAC-OEM1, RFPower550s pushing Polk 12\" GNX-124s, Cobra Esd-9210 laser/radar detector, when i get more bills, i\'ll get some real mods...

does teh SES light come on?? Sounds like something that has happened to my car recently. Try changing the plugs and wires and make sure your injectors are not clogged. I dunno what else the problem could be.2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6
M6, Magnaflow\'s 14336
C6 Pics

Old car:
1996 Firebird A4
SLP Cold Air Intake
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
Magnaflow Catalytic Converter

George Mason University
CEIE Major
Pi Kappa Alpha

Firebird Pics

well the plugs do take around 3 Hours or so. The drivers side took 1 hour or so, but the passenger side takes almost 2 hours. I just jacked the car up, got my dad to help me. You can take out the first top plugs from each side from the top of the engine, the other four u need to get underneath. The wires were a little tough too, getting them underneath from behind the engine. Good Luck changing your plugs. If the light doesn't come on then I don't think its the plugs, almost everytime it would tell you that one of the cylinders is misfiring when you scan it, so the light should come on.2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6
M6, Magnaflow\'s 14336
C6 Pics

Old car:
1996 Firebird A4
SLP Cold Air Intake
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
Magnaflow Catalytic Converter

George Mason University
CEIE Major
Pi Kappa Alpha

Firebird Pics

changing the fuel filter is not hard at all its only about a 30-45min job max...its on the driver side right behind the driver's door inside the frame(round silver thingy)...but i dont think it will help, if its still under warranty, take it to the dealer and spend their money not yoursIts only Forced Induction if she Accepts it
