A/C broke....kind of

So my A/C quit working, kind of....It blows out from under the dash, and is nice and cold, but not from the vents on the dash. Any ideas?

T-tops...haha...seriously though..thats strange. All I can suggest is to check your vents and ducts to make sure nothing is blocking them, other than that Im stunned.

Just finished a search and think I found it.....some sort of valve under the hood near the firewall, passenger side? Is that the consensus from anyone else who's had this problem?

Could be a vac hose came undone, check under the hood (near firewall) for anything loose.

That's what i would say. I've heard of it happening before and people had to take out their dash and fix something (it was a vac leak in the A/C lines or something).

yupp...deff a vac line...this is a pretty common problem on vehicles w/ vac operated A/C systems...my 95 camaro and 95 astro van both do this, but i have no problem...the windows stay down all the time anyway =D
