part # for belt system...

  • part # for belt system...

    does anyone know the part numbers for the tensioner pulley and the idler pulley? i called a local chevy place and he told me they are both the same pulley.. and i know they are not...

    well you know wrong because they are the same pulley for the 3.8 cars. :)

    www.gvperformance.com have them or autozone and such should have them as well

      if you really want the item numbers, ill get them for you when i get home from work.

      Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

        1998+ A/C Idler and Belt Tensioner STEEL Pulleys (GM p/n 24506756)

        The 95-97 are PLASTIC - DO NOT use.

          autozone and advance both gave me diff. prices and numbers for both parts werid oh well i will go with GM brand! thanks guys

            so since i have a 97 and in a few weeks i am changing my belt, i should get the 98+ a/c idler and belt tensioner? and any belt better then another?
