Does anybody know if the Fuel Pressure Regulator on a 3.4 is the same as on a TPI, LT1, or G/N V6? I if it fits from one of those engines, I could buy an adjustable to one of those engines and put on my 3.4 :cool:
Or maybe some other engines, as long as it is adjustable and it fits im happy..
I know that on the "old" VW`s and Audis whit Digifant injection, (VW calls it Digifant, It`s really a Bosch L-jetronic system)
Anyway, on those injection systems you can take the stock pressure regulator and press it together to get higher fuel pressure. not too much though, then it gets too high. You got to be really carefull when you do it.
I guess that every Rail mounted pressure regulator is made the same way? right?
So it would work on my regulator too?
You teoreticaly just tightens the return spring.
