I went and ran my car at the track a wile back and i have the 3.8 in my bird.
I ran a 15.6 and was wondering if there was a cheep mod other than the air intake i done that already that can get me in the 14s with out spending a lot of money
You should talk to Eric (MustangEater) . He's got a 3.8 5-speed and hit 14.6 and high 14's with nothing done to the engine. But he's an awesome driver!

Weight reduction is one free thing you could do.. 100 lbs eliminated takes about a tenth off your 1/4 mile time.. So strip it down when you take to the track.. But to hit 14's without doing a few mods, the only one that would get you there is probably nitrous.. If I were you though I'd get a cat-back exhaust to compliment the intake, and maybe a hi-flow cat to go with it (you can get one for 50-70 bucks I think).. That, the intake, and weight reduction would have you in low 15's.. And if the intake was after your 15.6, maybe you could even hit 14's if you launched better than you did the first time and shifted well (not sure if you have a manual or auto so maybe the last part was irrelevant)..
The key for you will probably be to practice a lot at the track to get your launch down perfect, otherwise you won't hit 14's without doing a couple more mods...
Assuming you don't have the Y87 package, an LSD with a lower gear ratio (numerically higher) might help. It's sorta cheap. If you're auto, torque converter. You will have to do a few mods to get into 14's tho. But practice your launch technique etc, take out jack and spare, try the free ram air mod....good luck.

i would say a basic nitrous setup is about the same price or less than lsd and gears. including labor your looking at like 7-800 for rear end and thats not what i would consider a cheap mod. id do headers and high flow cat. maybe a small shot of nitrous if yolu can find a good deal on a used kit or something.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
