Sir,
You will need to connect the green wire to the white wire on the "blue"
connector of the computer. The white wire is located at pin number 35, and you
will need to set the unit for a four cylinder.

gonna try it hopefully today
I just connected my green shift light wire to the white wire running off the PCM. I found it to be the easiest. I tried some wires in the blue connector and some under the driver side kick panel the led to the gauges and they didnt seem to work. The ignition I just connected to the ignition wire from my stereo.
Edit: Why did they tell you to set it for a four cylinder?
Well if its 97 and under..the computer is on the passenger side, right on the top corner of the engine bay. There are several grouped wire sections that lead to it. There is a fat one(fatter than the others) that comes from the drivers side. Those are the wires that come from all the electronics on the driver side, gauges included. Search through them and you will see a white one. Tap into it and try it out. Dont cut the wire...just slice the plastic coat and wrap around the green wire. Dont tape it up yet. Turn on your car, put it on neutral and rev it up to see if it lights up.
