I just seafoamed (through the EVAP line) this weekend. Got TONS of smoke out the back for around 20 minutes. It continued doing light smoke after that for about 45 minutes total. The car runs better than I remember it ever running in recent history now.
Is it safe for me to seafoam it again this weekend just to make sure I got everything out that I possibly can? Just want to make sure I won't do any damage to the engine through over-use or anything.

how do you sea foam an engine? do you add it to oil before you change it? or right after or mid?
or do you put it in your gas tank. my car has 137,000 miles on it do you think it would run a little better with that stuff. i wouldnt mind cleaning the engine's insides for once.

I've searched.. and I can't quite find a good explanation of how to run seafoam through the vacuum lines for a 98+ F-Body. Seeing as how the original poster ran it through the EVAP line, I'd be very interested if he could provide an explanation of everything he had to do.

I've seen that before when I did a search, but is it the same for 98+ 3.8 engines??? Anyone got a picture of where to run it? That's what I'm really askin' for...

I just pulled the vacuum line off of the brake booster. It just pulls out of the big black ball looking thing on the firewall, dont try to take the hose off just pull the whole thing diagnoly(SP?) and it will just pull out, then you need a small funnel to pour it in while the car is running until it dies or 3/4 of a can, then shut the engine off, and let it sit for 20 minutes.
Be careful when you are pouring it in cause if it stalls on you it will probably spit some out and maybe get in your eyes.
HTH,
Shane
Like Shane I pulled the line running from the TB to the brake booster using the brake booster end. I slowly poured it into the hose, which is easy because the vacuum sucks it all into the hose. Just do it slow enough so that the car doesn't stall out until you have put in 1/2 to 3/4 of a can. Be prepared for lots of smoke....especially when you get the engine under load.
