My passenger window has been dead for months now. Im going to replace it myself, along with my cousin. What is the part number for the window motor? Id rather buy it from a online parts place, b/c they are cheaper than the dealership. Alos, has anybody replaced a window mortor themselves, how involved is it?
same here- my passenger window takes forever to move, im thinking the motor is gone- are the motors the same in these different years and how much of a pain are they to replace?
I got mine from Checker Auto Parts but the numbers are the same from Autozone. Part #s for my 97 were Siemens WL 42014. Alternate make was A-1 brand #42-150 (not sure how many years take the same one but should cover most 4th generations. See my other post for how easy it was. Only difficulty I had was I need a helper to bolt the motor onto the door plate while I held it. The motor is a little awkward to hold and bolt by yourself.
