Did a search and got a few suggestions. This is also posted in FI but thought I may get more luck here.

After a top end swap and turbo setup I tried firing my car up and it doesnt get any spark. I tried the arching test with the plug and it def has no spark.

I will check the crank sensor tonite. Could it be a ground? I also deleted my AC system and EGR system and the plugs are just kinda hangin out.

My coil packs are fairly new and so are the plugs and wires. Any help is greatly appreciated

Last time I had that problem (after a topend re-build) it turned out to be the crank sensor intalled.

I'm having the same problem again though .I just swapped in my new motor, and it ran fine until the wires for the crank, cam and oil pressure sensors caught the harmonic balancer and got torn up. I ran new wires to the sensors and my car still will not run. I'm thinking maybe I cooked the ICM, so I'm going to try the spare one I have.

    Will keep you updated.

Well, an update not in my favor. I changed out my ICM for my known good spare and still no spark on any coil. Now I'm wondering if I damaged my crank sensor. I guess I'll have to wait till Thursday to get a new one in. :(

I know what you mean. Last nite I checked all my grounds, good. Checked my plug connections and they look good (My two plugs for the AC system are still left unplugged). I got a voltmeter and was testing the plug that goes into the coil packs or would that be the ICM? Anyways, only one pin out of the 14 is reading 12v. I am not quite sure what that means.....

I cant imagine that my crank sesnor is bad, it looks fine from a visual inspection.

Check the wires that go down the the cam and crank sensors, make sure they are still intact and that the insulation is still in good shape.

Update: I realized that when I installed my double roller timing chain that I forgot to insert the black magnet on the cam sprocket that the cam sensor reads off of.

Would that cause a no spark scenario? My guess is yes but I want to make sure before I tear down my top end again.

Hmm, I never took my old timing cover off when I swapped motors, but I would assume that if your cam sensor is not sending a signal, then you won't have any spark or fuel. Same thing applies to the crank sensor.

                Any luck with yours yet?

I managed to get mine running again. When I looked in the Chiltons & Hayes manuals at the wiring diagrams, they both depicted the same way of the wires going into the crankshaft position sensor, so without doubt that is how I wired it up. But today I stumbled across the Testing & Replacement procedures in the Chiltons manual and it showed a different way of wiring the sensor. So I switched the two wires around and she fired first shot.
