dave buckshaw does the same thing, if you get the timing tables programmed in you can use this thing from zzp to mess with the timing, i am also gonna use the afc 2.0 for fuel tuning, makes it easier to tune when you can do it yourself. the regular tune like ed wright does and dave does is a decent price, its about 100.00 extra for the custom tuning. in the end its worth it

Should I call before I pull the computer out and send it to him or should I just include the order form with the computer and let him handle to rest? Will he ship it back the same way I shipped it to him. I just want to do FedEX 2 day for $10 or something like that.1993 Pontiac Firebird 3.4L V6 A4<br />F41 RPO suspension option<br />119K miles<br />Fastchip<br />K&N \"Filtercharged\"<br />Airbox cuttout CAI<br />ASP underdrive pulleys<br />Pacesetter Headers<br />Flowmaster 80 Series 2.75 cat-back<br />MangaFlow Hi-Flow Cat<br />Corvette Servo<br />16.4 @ 81 MPH

I just got off the phone with Fastchip and they told me that the programming that they do on the 3.4L V6 computers is for a stock engine..."maybe with just an exhaust systems and an intake." They said that an engine with a cam or anything more than intake or exhaust would not benefit from the programming.
He said that they have tried to work on the 3.4s in the past, but they don't have enough information from the computer to make it run right.
Conclusion is that they can do some performance work on your computer if it is close to stock, but can't do anything for anyone with internal engine work like a cam or anything.
EDIT - for those with a cam or internal engine work or bigger injectors, etc., you can use the Holley Commander 950 and do a custom hookup. With this system, you can create your own fuel maps, work with injector timing, yada yada yada. Pretty cool setup, and for just $1200.00

Well, since I just have intake and exhaust I guess it would work for me. The main reason I'm getting this is because when i get's below 60 degrees here the car runs lean and has lean misfires above 2800 RPMS and has lean "spots" all over the RPM band due to my mods. I was hoping this would fix it. The stock programming can only compensate so much, I am told. Once you leave the stock ECU parameters, that's when trouble starts.1993 Pontiac Firebird 3.4L V6 A4<br />F41 RPO suspension option<br />119K miles<br />Fastchip<br />K&N \"Filtercharged\"<br />Airbox cuttout CAI<br />ASP underdrive pulleys<br />Pacesetter Headers<br />Flowmaster 80 Series 2.75 cat-back<br />MangaFlow Hi-Flow Cat<br />Corvette Servo<br />16.4 @ 81 MPH
