I tried searching this but i didn't come up with much useable info. I have a 01 3.8 Manual tranny every time i switch into neutral (stop lights, coasting to a stop) the idle bounces from like 400-1200 and sometime when i throw it back in gear it'll bog real bad if i catch it down in the 400RPM range its only stalled me once but its becoming worse and more annoying. Has anyone had this trouble before or know of it and know how to fix it. Thanks for the help guys/girls
This is kinda like lizzardfire problems but not sure if its the same my fuel filters fine i cleaned my MAF sensor, mods if u wanna throw this post into his thats fine just not sure if its the same problem

        Re: Bouncing Idle

I just did a full tune up including plugs and wires no more then 300 miles ago and i check those casue i figured maybe a wire was arcin off othe manifold. i don't hear any ticking sounds that would lead me to belive it was a plug/wire. Can anyone clear up the EGR valve possibility. I had the egr valve go bad in my s10 bud it raced and it didn't bounce.... If anyone could clear that up i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the help from the 1st two posters
