Just put the downpayment on a 99 bird at the dealership tonight. I pick it up on friday after school (I'll be 17 next week) Here is a link to some pics I took of the car while at the dealer today. Its a 99 black bird, t-tops, A4, 71k miles, for $7950 with 3 month warranty.
Looks good..EXCEPT I hope you take the chrome fender trims off immediately upon purchase. And this doesn't belong in General tech. navyblue is going to be one pissed mofo
ahhh sorry about posting in wrong place. And yea...those chrome things look HORRIBLE. I dunno who in their right mind put those on. Are there replacements to buy? Or just leave nothing? And take a look at the brake calipers...they look a little rusty, is that normal?
SOLD - 1999 Black Firebird
A4, T-tops, 3.42 gears, Y87 Package
[Appearance mods] Chrome side vents, Pontiac metallic silver rear inlay
[Performance mods] TSP Rumbler
PICS
The rusty rotors aren't a big deal. You could remove the rust..(try appearance forum for tips) The car must have been sitting at the dealer for awhile in normal weather conditions.
The chrome trims are just an add on. You should just be able to take them off.
