Alright, this has been asked a million times over but no one has actually given a definate answer. Will a carbed 350 crate engine like such http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...61&prmenbr=361 fit into a 98 Firebird? Has anyone actually proved that the distributer will NOT fit? So what do some of you experts think?

With distributors with a crab top this would not be an issue. There are also distributors that you can mount on the front with a pulley on the cam again solving firewall/4th gen install probs. I also found at bmrfabrication.com a k member that would make the whole job a lot eaiser to do. I am going to do something like this when I return from Iraq. (all that tax free money I can't spend)
yes it can work
