    Dont be light on them either. Talk to the manager and no one below him. Be stern and dont take crap. when all else fails sternly tell them they are obligated to fix it. maybe tell them that you will talk to the better business bureau or your lawyer. they will spend the money to get it fixed to avoid those situations.
