Ok here is what happend my friends dad was on his was to vegas and his engine blew up. he had a 93 olds 3.8 with 80,000 miles on it. Well he got a new moter and i said would take the old one off his hands. Wel i found out the that intake manfold are differnt so my question is will the parts be interchangable and are they to diffent engiens or what i am very confused.. that for you akk the help.

that engine is the 3800 series 1. AS you know, the intake is different. The heads are different too. sorry bud, but maybe you can use the injectors, coil paks, .1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:

It's a FWD 3.8, so it wouldn't fit without a lot of custom fabbing. Not only that, but the engine only has 170hp. It's sorta scrap metal, dude.16 years old with no car and big dreams...Comment

Could be done, you would probably need to move the starter and a few other odds & ends.
