The tach wire is easiest to get to on the passenger side floorboard. There is a connector which has a white wire that is the tach wire....I will post the other colored wires in the connector tonight when I get home to look at my service manual.

So basically, it's the white wire under the passenger side panel for RPM?

Anyone else with a comment - PLEASE!

      Thanks

speedy-v6-camaro's wire sounds easier to get to then where i installed it. i installed a tach with the shift light, and ran the tach wire to the ignition control module, pin E. this wire was pretty hard to get to, so i say try speedy's first. by the way speedy, where'd u connect the ground to? i have it near the gas pedal and sometimes for wahtever reason it seems as the ground is not making good connection because the needle will freeze for just a moment (even though the shift light is always dead on).
