I just bought a 1984 camaro Z28 which had a new engine put in and it was sitting for about two years....
Just wanted some opinions on what could cause this...
The car idles fine, is fine when you are accelerating is fine when you take your foot off the gas...but, when driving at a normal steady constant speed the rpms are jumping up and down and I can feel it...If I accelerate more - like to speed up - it stops, if I take my foot off the gas it stops.
    What could be causing this?

Carb needs to be cleaned more than likely, sounds like dirty jets.

Run some seafoam or carb cleaner thru the fuel system, maybe even spray carb cleaner into the carb when its running and try and clear it up.
