Fuel going through the fuel pump cools it, it could overheat and burn up... but if you really never ran real low or it go dry you should be fine.

Cool. I'll probably just see about burning through 93 a gallon at a time for 2 to 3 tries in order to get rid of the remaining bad fuel before swapping out the fuel filter and filling back up again.

Onto the reason this thread was really created in the first place...I was able to fix the cruise control also while in the midst of swapping the coil out. Turns out the anticipation switch on the clutch needed to be have the depth reset. When the clutch was all the way up, it was pushing the switch in, but not enough to set it. I know I had said before that I checked the switches, but I guess I hadn't gotten as into it as I needed to be in order to check the switch depth on the clutch.

Thank you all for your help and guidance during this. I'll update once I've swapped out the fuel filter.

I've been driving the car around for the past few weeks trying to get the rest of the bad fuel out and this morning on the way to work the SES light came back on again. Is it reasonable to assume that it's because of the remainder of the bad fuel and the problem will be resolved once it gets through the system and the fuel filter is replaced? Also, I've noticed for the past 2 weeks that while it seems I've gotten a lot of my power back, but not quite all, the sound signature of my car, with a Flowmaster exhaust, is still quite a bit quieter than before. Will this also be resolved once the bad fuel is gone and the filter has been replaced?
