If you want to impress others, maybe make your car a tidbit less reliable... cam...
Want mods you will enjoy yourself way more then a cam, throw on some suspension stuff. Makes driving so much more fun, plus it usually easier to sell when you get rid of your car, or hell even use to upgrade if you get a v8.
fan switch, stat and o2 sensor, would be mods but nothing super impressive.
do the manual fan switch mod yourself.. not slp's.
i did mine for 8 bucks max. all radio shack.
cant beat it.
cam would be cool.
do you already have gears and LSD?

Then make it look nice ;) It doesn't have to be ghetto rigged like some people have it.
