speaking of that, can't you pay off a guy at a truck scale to give you your weight? I know a place that i can drive right into one, hardly no trucks at all...I could slip the guy a $5 or something

I use four small scales and add up the weight under each tire! ;)

Most tracks have weight scales were you can weigh-in after a run. I know texas motorplex speedway does.

There is a sand plant right down the road where I think I can weight my car, I want to know how fat my baby is! One of my friends has a 93 Mustang LX 4 banger, that mother weighs 3859 lbs! Thats w/o the driver! When his SES light is on the power is like cut in half, is hlarious. We were doing down the road side by side once and he just went bye-bye in my rear view mirror. He said the SES light came on!

Wow, I thought mine was the only car that heavy. According to the scale at the landfill, it was 3720, with 3/4 tank of gas and me in it...deducting 210 for my obese @ss, that's 3510. The registration says 3334. I often wondered if some joker at the assembly plant secretly welded barbell plates into the frame...it would explain why my car is so slow.
I have t-tops, automatic tranny and everything but power seats and leather...obviously all that luxury stuff adds weight.

some truck stops have things called "certified CAT scales" they use them to weigh their trucks after fueling up to make sure they are not overwieght.. some of the larger nicer ones have them.. it's supposed to be a couple of bucks... truck drivers use them because if they say you are not over weight and you go down to the scales and get a ticket for being overweight CAT will pay it.. thus "certified CAT" scales.. anyway do a little looking around you if your local track doesn't have a scale. Also if you have any big scrap metal/recycling yards they usually have scales too.. someone pulls up in a pickup loaded with aluminum cans.. weigh the truck, pull the cans off.. weigh again and subtract the 2 to get the wieght they pay you for.. anyway those are a couple of options..
