Re: oil pressure
ya i think it is the sender because my pressure gauge just went to 0 and it is 3.8 2000 so question now is how i take out the rest of it? will it leak oil ? should i take my oil out? also any harm to keep it like this?Last edited by junkey_chan; 08-30-2007, 12:16 PM.

Re: oil pressure
Part of my belt shredded a few weeksago and broke off the plastic piece of the sensor. If you tak a close look at the metal piece left in their there will be a clear platic diaphram. I bought mine at a chevy dealer was $60 or around that. Just get wrench unscrew old one screw new one in and hook up the wire. Takes 5 min.
When you remove it the hole is so small will leak a couple drips of oil that is it. Technicaly no harm.. I can see unless that diaphram brakes then will leak oil. And just freaked me out seeinug 0 oil pressure all the time.
