    Mixing synthetic and normal oil

    When I got home from Japan, my dad told me he added a quart of oil to my car. Okay, cool right?

    Problem is, I put in synthetic last time I changed it, and he added normal.

    How bad is it??

    I'm changing it tomorrow anyway...just want to know if it's really bad or not too bad.

      you can mix them. its no big deal.

        I wouldn't worry about one quart...just go back to all synthetic on your next oil change.
