Well I took care of it today. I have tuned many small block V8s in my time, but this little V6 was a bit more challenging.
The left side (driver) plugs were no problem at all. The passenger side took some patience along with different extensions and u-joints. The old plug wires were totally burned to the plugs and came off in pieces even with my Snap-on boot remover tool.
The old wires were some no name brand, and the old plugs were actually Autolite part # 25. I figured it had AC Delco plugs, I guess I was wrong.
I decided to go with NGK UR5 Plugs, and Talyor Pro Fit Wires, red in color. The final product came out really nice. The wires are routed nice and neat with wire seperators. I put lots of dielectric grease on the ends as well. The plugs also received a good coating of anti sieze compound.
When I finished the job it fired right up. I went out for a drive and it is running just fine.
All totaled it took about 2 hours, but I was not in a rush.
