basic mods

so my friend has a 99 bird 3800 and ive always been part of clubgp naioa and many more with my impala but i was wondering what basic lil things can be done to these motors for some hp..? flashing the computer..? intakes cant do that much.. she wants a lil more power any one got some ideas?

am gonna keep reading! btw nice lil fourm u guys got glad people always wanna do things to thier cars!

Headers, Intake, Cam, Cat Back. Also if she really wants more power Nitrous (read up on it first) Or a Turbo (Also read up as much as u can!) Thats the best best for getting the best HP gains as far as i know. Anybody else care to chime in?

if you're limiting yourself to "basic lil things" then yea...intake is all you're going to be able to do

intake, exhaust, gears/lsd are great places to start. Mail order tunes can be done as well through texas-speed.com or pcmforless.com

Many of the grand prix motor items are the same with the fbody. Intakes, and headers are different completely obviously. GTP heads have the injector bosses in them and our fbody cars do not.

well for tune wise i got a dhp powertuner for my car so am gonna make me a bin and re do something and see where that gets me.. any cheapy but good intakes around or is it the same thing as the camaro/ls1 boys.. ram air kit and dont matter on the filter /LID?
